Reflection on Tech
This course was fairly difficult for me. I have never considered myself tech savvy, although I can usually figure things out. Though I did well in the course, I don't think I'll fully grasp the tech until I actually use them in my own library. I most enjoyed social media apps as I am already familiar with most of them. I use Facebook fairly frequently, but also have accounts on Instagram and Twitter. For my own library, I would probably use Instagram as that would reach the most users. Personally, I use Facebook frequently and am familiar with their features, but not many teenagers use it and I want to reach as many users as possible. Podcasts were the most difficult for me. The concept wasn't difficult, and neither was making one. But the idea of recording my conversation with another adult gave me anxiety as I have a fear of public speaking.
